Filed under: Football News — umwsc @ 9:48 pm

James McDonald, who is a wide receiver and of Penn State’s College of Communications, will not be invited back for his fifth season on the football team,” Penn State said in a statement. James McDonald was charged with DUI and driving an unregistered vehicle. The criminal incident happened in State College, but the official date was not released. James McDonald’s blood-alcohol content was stated as between .08 and .10. The federal highway act requirement and legal limit in Pennsylvania is .08. A preliminary conference is scheduled for Aug. 19, 2009. James McDonald is a native of Washington, D.C., native and had seven catches for 90 yards from 2006-08 for the Penn State Football Team. James McDonald was set to be Penn State’s oldest scholarship receiver of 2009. James McDonald would have likely started this upcoming season on the second depth chart. Penn State has a large freshman class and many of them are receivers, a group that includes Justin Brown, Curtis Drake, Christian Kuntz, Shawney Kersey, Devon Smith and Derrick Thomas. McDonald was 6-foot-2 and a mid-tier recruit, rated three stars by both Scout.com and Rivals.com. Coach Joe Paterno will address the McDonald situation at the Big Ten football media days in Chicago. If you live in the Chicago area and need a great Chicago dui lawyer I suggest Mathew Miller. Mr. Miller is one of the all around top Chicago dui lawyer around. Fall practice for Penn State begins on Aug. 10. The 2009 season opens on Sept. 5 against Akron University.
