Mike Tyson requests some privacy following daughter’s death

Filed under: boxing news — umwsc @ 9:27 pm

The death of former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson’s four year-old daughter in a horrible accident while playing at her house adds a very sad footnote to his already troubled life as I return from the San Diego area. I do not know if i ever told you that I really love the San Diego area generally, it is so nice there overall and ranks right up there with Washington state I think.
As it stands, Exodus Tyson passed away at a hospital Tuesday following being on life support since she was injured several days ago in Phoenix, Arizona, according to the relevent local authorities. It appears that she either slipped and then fell or put her head in the loop of a cord hanging under a treadmill’s console. For his part, Tyson came to to Arizona after his daughter was hurt and was seen entering the hospital. The modest house where his daughter resided contrasts sharply with the opulent and luxurious lifestyle he had throughout most his turbulent and sometimes chaotic years in the ring, when he frittered away millions in revenue while claiming that he had much more ripped of from him by various unscrupulous associates and his costly divorce as well. By the way if you need a San Diego criminal attorney then please take a look at the law Offices of this partcular practice as they are worth a look. The are indeed among the very finest of the San Diego divorce and domestic violence lawyer that you will find there as well as being a top San Diego criminal attorney overall. During only a 2 year period at the top of his career, he made over one hundred million, and yet he filed for Chapter 11 protection in the United States Bankruptcy Court several years ago. All in all, He had been promoting a documentary in new York City regarding the story of his life and stated to the The New York Times earlier in May that he has been sober for some fifteen months or so following “years” of narcotic and alcohol abuse as well as high profile criminal defense cases. Historically speaking, he started the sport which would eventually make him famous at an institution a facility for juvenile delinquents
in the state of New York around the age of twelve. Some 8 years after that he became the youngest heavyweight champion of all time when he knocked out Trevor Berbick. He was famous for his marriage and then divorce of Robin Givens. Speaking of that, if you need a good Washington divorce attorney then this practice is a good place to start for a divorce attorney in the state of Washington generally. Then in 1990, he was soundly defeated by James “Buster” Douglas in one of the largest upsets the sport has ever seen. Not that long thereafter he was convicted of the criminal charge of the raping of a top beauty pageant contestant in Indiana, a crime for which he served 3 years behind bars. Then just several years after that, he did 3 months in the slammer for assaulting 2 individuals following a relatively minor fender bender in another criminal defense related case. His attorney recently claimed that he did the best he could, considering his background.

3 Sports to entertain your Cat

Filed under: Off the Wall — umwsc @ 10:05 pm

If you happen to be a feline lover, then from time to time it’s a good idea to play some games and sports with your cat. Playing with your cat or kitty is not just “play” to a him or her but gives him important mental and bodily stimulation, which is vital to the health of all animals, including humans. Remember good cat health is not only about what cat food you give them – although this too is key and requires some attention, but it also requires tending to your animal’s other needs. Speaking of other needs, I strongly urge you to obtain a premium cat food like Life’s Abundance for your precious friend if you are truly interested in his or her well-being. A premium cat food is critical in this day and age. The pet food recalls confirmed that beyond a shadow of a doubt. Now back to the article:

To give your feline the required amount of entertainment, you need not spend much. As a matter of fact you can use some imagination plus household items to give the animal a little fun. Here we have enclosed a number of tips below which we hope will get you started:

1. Scrunch Up a Piece of Paper and Throw it to Them
One of my cats prefers a scrunched up piece of paper to any store bought toy, period.
Again, it’s the noise of the paper moving along on the floor, and the irregular shape that seems to draw my cat to the paper. She’ll run around with this piece of paper for a good twenty minute stretch.

3. Go Fishing with a String
Find a long piece of string and on the end place an object that your cat is attracted to – such as a balled up sock or stocking, tie it to your belt, and walk through the house. Cats love chasing things that are being dragged, and they will be intrigued by your new accessory.

4. Create a Tower
You don’t need to go to the pet store and buy a $70 cat tower to amuse your cats. You probably have the makings of a tower in your home or garage. Go and find some sturdy cardboard boxes (a few will do) and either place them side by side or stack them one on top of the other. Cut windows so that the cat will be able to move from one to another. Also make windows so that they can see outside. Place it up against a wall, and secure with furniture or masking tape to the wall, whichever works for you. Just make sure your base box is big enough to support and balance the two other boxes above it. Introduce your cat to the bottom box and watch Kitty explore. Note: If Kitty is hesitant to go in you can entice him in with a little cat food trail or cat food treats. I don’t know about you, but I think that there’s nothing better than watching a happy cat explore.
