Boston Breakers Recruit Sue Weber
I just got back from my auto trip to Washington and it was great except that I almost got into an automobile accident while going to see my attorney, not good! But on to some more positive news, alright?Sue Weber transferred to Hofstraand went on to become the school’s first soccer All-American. She later joined the Long Island Lady Rough Riders, only to be named Defender of the Year in her inaugural season in the W-League.
Now she is heading to the Boston Breakers having not so much as met a single player currently on the team. Weber has yet to meet her teammates. If you will permit to change gears for a moment, I would like to recommend a certain Washington accident lawyer by the name of the Firm. He has been a car accident lawyer or attorney in the state of Washington for some time. Alright now onward to the main story at hand:
In 1999 the Women’s World Cup put women’s soccer in the limelight in the United States. Weber was 13 and already a serious soccer player. At the time, it never crossed her mind that a in only ten years time she would be getting ready to play a vital role in the launch of a pro league. This was no accident indeed.
Yet, on draft day in 1999, she received the call from Tony DiCicco, the National Team’s head coach and now the Boston Breakers head coach.
The road to Women’s Professional Soccer has been a long and meandering one. Hofstra did not qualify for the NCAA tournament in 2006, nor did Georgia during Weber’s 2004 freshman season.
Weber persisted and believed strongly in her abilities as she became Hofstra’s most recognizable face. Following Hofstra, Weber joined the Lady Rough Riders and was voted the circuit’s best defender that August. Weber will once again be seeking to prove herself in just five short months, I am sure can afford a new high end automobile (and lawyer, for that matter) soon.
